Reporting to: Production Manager

Job Description

  • As a valued member of our team at ICS Medical Devices, the Product Builder plays a key role in creating innovative products with precision, care, and efficiency. Role & Responsibilities

  • The product builder is responsible for building product in a safe and efficient manner following directions and procedures prescribed by ICS Medical Devices. The product builder will perform all duties assigned by the supervisor or manager. 
  • The product builder must always operate in a responsible manner respecting the health and safety of her/himself and the product builders’ colleagues. 
  • The product builder will carry out operations to documented procedures and practices in our cleanrooms, labs and general manufacturing areas including but not limited to product builds, packaging, labelling and inspections / testing. 
  • Complete and comply with our documentation and procedure requirements. 
  • Demonstrate a quality culture within the team, ensuring that procedures and work methods for the area are accurate and fully complied to. 
  • Comply with our good manufacturing requirements. 
  • Support ICS Medical Devices in maintaining and improving our production and prototyping output, yield, efficiency and other general improvements developed by ICS Medical Devices. The product builder will strive for the highest quality of workmanship. 
  • Always be professional and courteous with fellow staff and in particular any dealings with our customers. 
  • The product builder is expected to be open to learning, teaching and be flexible to new methods and ideas. The product builder will be expected to teach other staff as required. 
  • Depending on experience, assist in the development of improved / new product and processes. 
  • Be punctual, complete task efficiently as we strive to meet our customer goals in our everyday work. 
  • Perform computer applications as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as required. 

Requirements

  • Successful candidate should have at a minimum a leaving certificate or equivalent. 
  • Relevant experience in a medical device catheter environment is desirable. 
  • Fluent spoken and written English  
  • High Level of dexterity is essential  
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a highly technical, challenging and changing environment  
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Be willing to work as part of a team 
  • Be able to work on own initiative  
  • Have proven time keeping and attendance record  
  • Previous experience in a target driven environment is an advantage  

Shift Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday 7:15- 16:00. Friday 7:15- 13:00
