ICS Medical Devices partnered with a urology-focused medtech innovator to develop a flexible, steerable catheter system for the delivery of a novel stent designed to gently reshape the enlarged urology and relieve lower urinary tract symptoms. The system offers a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgical approaches. ICS supported the customer from early design through to clinical builds, ensuring precise stent placement and enhanced patient comfort through optimised catheter flexibility and control.

ICS Medical Devices supported a European medtech startup in developing a catheter-based cryotherapy system for the treatment of vulnerable coronary plaque, a key contributor to myocardial infarction. ICS engineered the balloon catheter’s intricate shaft and handle design to ensure precise energy delivery, optimal trackability, and robust performance under demanding clinical conditions. This collaboration enabled the customer to successfully progress into clinical trials with a reliable and scalable delivery platform.
