Structural Heart

We are experts in structural heart applications including access sheaths, delivery catheters and systems targeting the aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves.

Braids, coils, and laser-cut stainless-steel components can all be configured to contribute to performance and function, including steerable shafts and telescopic devices used in therapy delivery.

Devices can be made steerable, with the option of multi-plane steering with the incorporation of pull wires with high tensile load capabilities to handle high force delivery requirements of your implants.

Our testing capabilities allow us to test and challenge the design quickly in our lab. Custom test methods can be designed and tailored to suit your specific needs.

Peripheral vascular

Our technology and expertise is ideally suited to catheters used in peripheral vascular applications including self-expanding stent delivery systems, graft delivery systems used in AAA, TAA and EVAR applications, niche devices including embolics delivery, occlusion devices and novel multi-functional integrated devices.

We have developed significant expertise and capability in microcatheters and lowest-profile diameter shafts minimising wall thickness and optimising the internal cross-sectional area.

Laser-cut shafts, braid, coil, and braid/coil hybrids with multi-durometer jackets are all optimised to target performance and functionality.

Endoscopic devices

Endoscopic devices typically leverage our long-length braided and coiled shafts equipment capability for GI applications to the shorter and engineered shafts used in ENT applications. Our equipment is customised to allow for this flexibility and to support the broad range of applications.

If you require steerable devices or integrated devices for access in gastrointestinal, oesophageal, bronchial or laryngeal applications – our steerable catheter device technology and knowledge base can work to your advantage.

Neurovascular

Neurovascular therapy represents an area of evolving and significantly challenging catheter needs. Here at ICS we are equipped for the challenge, constructing to the lowest of profiles and thinnest of wall constructions.

Microcatheter access devices, stent/coil/embolic delivery systems, balloon occlusion devices, clot retrieval, filter and thrombus retrieval devices and complex integrated devices are all within our capabilities.

We conduct braiding with fine wire (0.0015″), coil wire in SS and Nitinol, and hybrid shafts (braid and coil in series or overlaid). Our reflow can overlay jackets with 7-8-9+ durometers tailored to your device’s exacting needs and requirements.
